Love - Poem by Ruby Britt

Love does not cure all --
But it heals ...
The body and the soul,
Restoring life's will.
It goes around
What's in its path,
Ignoring sounds
of protest or wrath.
Love provides vital nourishment
For floundering hearts
And helpful encouragement
To guide timid starts.
Love makes things grow
Like sunshine and rain.
Blooms dare to show
When love is ingrained.
