Love Across Distance (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Love Across Distance (Shakespearean Sonnet)

Though miles arise like walls between our days,
My heart finds paths no road nor map can show;
Each thought of thee becomes a steady blaze,
A light that guides me where thy absence glows.
The sky we share bends low to hold our names,
The same moon listens to our whispered pleas;
What space divides, the spirit still reclaims,
For love outpaces land and restless seas.
I send my voice on hope's uncharted wing,
And trust it lands where longing learns to rest;
In waiting, love grows bold, a deeper thing,
Forged strong by faith and quietly confessed.
So distance proves not love's defeat or test—
It teaches hearts to love beyond the rest.
