Love: Aidan Poem by Brodie Montgomery

I think about it day and night,
It's the one thing on my mind alright.
It's not an it, or a thing,
It's so much more, than a fling.
He makes me smile, and makes me cry,
I love being with him, he makes me high.
He gives me a buzz, no alcohol can,
Then he smiles like a goof, again and again.
So i spend my time thinking, just about 'us',
But i laugh at myself, cause 'us' is suss.
So here i am thinking, magical thoughts,
Like how much i love him, oh my gosh!
He's like my little drug supply,
To you though darling, I could never lie.
He know's my life, It's his life too.
I never expected to be lucky and get you,
Other's luck is special, in it's own way.
It comes in fractions, every other day.
Whereas now i have found him, it's safe to say,
I love you my sweetheart, every single day.
So i've been told, you love me back,
You think about 'us', just like that.
You love and care, just like i do,
The way we feel, is so new.
So hold me tight, and don't let go.
