All the earthly things are perishable..... even love and friendship! Friends desert us and close ones abandon us! Such things are to be expected in life, though painful! Nothing here is permanent. Once we have to leave everything behind......possessions, loved ones, fame and power. What ultimately may remain are our good deeds. Whether any one remembers them or not, they will stay.
