Love As Comfort And Shelter Poem by ashok jadhav

Love As Comfort And Shelter

When storms arise and shadows claim the day,
Your presence is the hearth that keeps me warm;
No gust of fear can steal my heart away,
No darkness dim the light of your calm form.
Your voice is soft, a balm to restless thought,
A gentle hand that steadies all my fears;
In every touch, a peace I never sought,
Yet find in you, through laughter, smiles, and tears.
Love is the roof that shields from bitter rain,
A quiet home where wandering hearts may rest;
It heals the ache, it soothes the lingering pain,
And fills the empty spaces in my chest.
So even when the world feels cold and wide,
I walk with you—my harbor, hope, and guide.
