Love As Self-Discovery (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Love As Self-Discovery (Shakespearean Sonnet)

In loving thee, I've glimpsed what lies within,
A mirror held where truth and heart convene;
Each glance reveals both virtue and our sin,
Each touch unearths what I had never seen.
Through thee, my fears and hopes alike emerge,
And walls I built fall slowly, brick by brick;
Thy patience guides the soul to its own verge,
Where shadows fade and clarity grows quick.
No journey more profound than what we share,
No map can chart the depths that love unseals;
It teaches how to stand both strong and bare,
And shows the self that honest passion feels.
Thus love, when true, becomes a faithful guide—
A path to know the self one holds inside.
