A distant so
To the future I stare
I raced thro'
To see how you fare
A mark of mystery
Upon a face unknown
I'll live life merrily
'Til that face is shown
This heart will lie,
And await it's rouse
I'll sail and fly,
While this fire is doused
It was my selfishness,
That ruin was brought upon
None again shall helplessness,
Devour a buoyant dawn
A distance so,
To the future I glance
Love awaits thro'
This and a later dance
