A Pitiful Apology Poem by Leonardo David Tay

A Pitiful Apology

Have I stained you?
Did I do wrong?
Please tell me who,
Sadly was sung a song.

I crumble to my knees,
Under your gaze.
No use saying, "please"
I know you desire to raze.

I could just perish,
I could just disappear.
But would you relish,
After my words you hear?

What was spoken could merely be,
Just out of desperation.
But could you not see?
You are my aspiration.

I only wish to be forgiven,
All for my actions wicked.
Forgive one so stricken,
And you may never have hated.
