I love Him, because He loves me
Showing selfless He cares
God saved my soul gave eyes to see
The fruit salvation shares

I love God’s Son with heart and soul
In spirit through and through
For guiding me towards the goal
No flesh and bone can view

Because of Jesus’ sinless blood
Because I have believed
I’ve learned to walk The Way I should
Because of grace received

Because He heard my sinful cry
Because His mercy’s real
Because He chose for me to die
And place on me His Seal

He sees my thoughts my inner being
The road once sought and trod
But quickly turned when seeing
Jesus is truly God

I love Him for The Truth revealed
The facts of life made known
Allowing me my soul to yield
The Lamb on Heaven’s throne

Forgiven, loved, by grace approved
Each day’s blessed thrill
How can my soul now not be moved?
How can my tongue be still?

I want to live and come alive
My former life to flee
To walk to grow to always thrive
In He who set me free
