Love By The Sea Poem by Richard Noggin

Love By The Sea

We made love to the sounds of the ocean
Just you and me
As we gently licked the slight taste
Of salt off each other’s body
I remember holding you tight
And smelling the faint scent of apples in your hair
Your skin smooth and warm
Like a blanket just taken out of the dryer
I remember holding you in my arms
As you gently fell asleep
Yes, I remember making love to you
To the calming sounds of the sea
