All along he liked her, he said
he never had thoughts of living with her
their bond was friendship, extended
he did not hope their being together
Childhood friends, they had been
just that much, not any more
he knew each good point of her
she knew when his heart felt sore
It's amazing, how life can change
it sometimes seems so strange
that which we thought, could happen not,
such miracles it sometimes arrange
It began with his suffering spree
when she kept up all the night
attending him, while the nurse slept
to see every thing was right
He then figured her love for him
to realize he loved her too;
you may try to get things right
They will work out, when they have to.
