Love Flows - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

I make a mirror
of you
and you see me

i am beautiful
in the dusk
as beautiful as
you in the

sooner we become
in love with our

we spin around
the corners of our

i follow you and then
i hold you
my tongue is yours
my hands too

later we shall feel
how dams break out
how waters escape
how pools of water
become rivers
how swamps become
flooded waters

this is the journey of
two wooden boats
without rudders
without sails
