Love Game Poem by Mystery Romantic

Love Game

Rating: 5.0

I don't get a friendly hello hug anymore
Does that mean we're not friends anymore?
You bleakly say hello to me and walk away
Are you sure this is how you want to play?
I catch your eye from across the room
And we both look away to persist our state of gloom
A cute boy a few feet away starts to approach me
And I get an idea that fills me up with glee
So now I'm flirting with him and I find that he's quite coy
And I look on sated to see you shooting daggers at the boy
But the satisfaction only lasts for a little while
Because then I remember how many times you've made me smile
So I politely dismiss the boy and head your way
I take the seat next to you, smile and say 'hey'
