Love Gone Mania Poem by Tamara Turner

Love Gone Mania

For all I know I'm just having a manic episode.
There's no love story here to be told
For the majority of my life I've been high.
one might wonder why haven't I just killed over yet and died.
I'm still awake a day later when I look down to my surprise there are alligators.
One of them tells me as long as long I don't fall off my pedestal they want fight me.
Sitting up so high I see them as no posing threat after all I haven't fell in the swimming yet.
I agreed to their terms only to be knocked off my pedestal by the wind.
Once again my own pride has deceived me once again.
