When the wild flowers come into bloom.
The birds sang sweetly in the Highlands.
We walked amongst the hills amongst the heather and the hazel.
The waters fall from the mountains, into the lochside.
My senses are filled with all the beautiful colors and sights.
My lassie you are bathed in the sunshine, hair black as night.
Eyes of light green and skin white and fair.
The taste of your lips, and your perfume make me feel alive.
The boatman rows along the loch.
We wave at him as he pulls his oars towards the shore.
All I need is you my heart is captured with love.
