Love Is Poem by Luke Harbur

Love Is

Love is walking along the street and smiling at each person you meet.

Love is skipping in public while other people laugh at your outgoing stupidity.

Love is running the extra half a mile so you can shake off past memories for a little while longer.

Love is connecting hands with someone for the first time.

Love is depression, realization, and resurrection after a relationship.

Love is sitting on a hill... thinking about what you SHOULD have done...

Love is laying on a hammock while listening to the waves crash from the right

AND the left.

Love is drawing an abstract pattern

Which represents nothing and everything at the same time.

Love is the deep inhale of your emotions,

and the comforting exhale of your acceptions.

Love is the amazing feeling that comes in all forms, and one must recognize it is a snack mix of emotions.

How it treats you, hates you, eats your heart, feeds your soul...

Because simply,

Love... is.
