Love Is A Universal Language Poem by Tina Baaklini

Love Is A Universal Language

My love,

Love is a universal language
That needs no translation
In bold letters it says:
Love knows no preconception

Yet love may be scarce
As crumbs of bread, dispersed
Enough to satiate a little bird
Well, mediocrity abounds in the world
But a mediocre love? That's so absurd!

Real poverty is not in money
For richness is that of hearts
As tenderness flourishes the soul
Faithfulness flowers the heart

But your love is a whole different story
You moved mountains and seas
Just to be with me, sweet love
Your love is a divine bliss and grace
Oh my sweet tender soulmate
