Love Is All We Need (Sonnet #103) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Love Is All We Need (Sonnet #103)

I hear whispers echoing from afar:
Fear not, stay calm, things won't go in dismay
Embrace the change, sway among the stars
Life is a spring cloud, none is here to stay.

Alone we came, alone we'll meet God
I think of all my battles in rewind
Strength is gained when things die within us
As snatching the heart, giving reigns to the mind.

O love, I wish I awakened before
Your love helped me carve my inner diamond
You helped me fix my broken wings and soar
To heavenly skies above. Of you I'm fond!

Your deep love is all my heart ever needed
To feel alive, to thrive, never defeated .
