the light i've known has disappeared
the face i've love's no longer here
the one i love has stabbed my heart
and now my life's tearing apart
he left me knowing what would happen
my life is wrong without him
now all I do is lock up my love
and kill the gift I've been given from above
so if you're reading this out loud
know that the meaning is hiding somehow
and if the one you love leaves you
know your heart is leaving too
