Love Is, Ii [extension To The End] Poem by Raj Thampi

Love Is, Ii [extension To The End]

Rating: 5.0

Discotheque extension to an altar
Gold or silver rings according the wallets
Combination of black suits, representing sadness for ever
White and long soiled end of bridal attire
Few signs here and there on multicolored documents
And a question never answered “Now what? ”
Some times later
Children
Perfect and permanent
Reminders of bored sleepless nights and lust
And the balance sheet of same multicolored documents
Love is
A space between two bodies
A drift between two thoughts
An argument between two ideologies
Then
Secret meetings with a John or Martha

Love is
Spread into darkness of a courtroom
Pointing fingers, tears and accusing
Then change of names
And panic stricken teenage children
Love is
Hysteric threatening calls
Moving out and in furniture, crockery
Again arguments
And decision making slaps

Love is
Felt.
