Love Is Lost - Poem by foxy babii

Love has lost its meaning
We use it without thinking
We say to often I love you
And the next day it’s not true

We say love like goodbye
Yet it only causes more to cry
As in that word they believe
They wait but never receive

For when bad times come our way
Our love drifts an does sway
We bend and soon break
And say our love was a mistake

One with true love is hard to find
Gentle, beautiful, patient an kind
They are longsuffering an true
And mean each word they say to you

We need a new word for love
Something deep an far above
Only said when forever to stay
An last beyond each an every day
