Love Is Menial Poem by Troy Clark

Love Is Menial

Love is a menial smile
Hidden from heart from heart
A to long a stretch to wander

Love is impatient gestures
Eyes that tell a story
But the tongue tells a completely
Different scene

Love is the thing of legends
Wars fought and won over
Save the pretty princess whose hair
Is far to bright, and eyes too blue

And then the sun sets and we wake up renewed
