Love Is So Important - Poem by Paula du Lac
There are as many kinds of love
As people on this planet.
Love makes the world go 'round
So many songsters chant it. Many couples fall in love
And promise 'twill be forever.
They soon forget that "two as one"
Becomes the main endeavor. When mother's love and father's love
Cooperate in giving,
They strengthen and prepare the child
For the task of living. Could it be, the greatest love
Is not for procreation,
But acceptance of out fellow man
As part of God's Creation? This love is a creative love
It bolsters interaction,
Forgives, forgets, and it above
Subliming selfish action.
