Bryan Ferry warned us -
Love is the drug!
and drugs have side effects -
some major, some minor,
some lethal.
Some drugs can be addictive -
never take more than the recommended dose.
Some are hallucinogenic,
some cost a lot of money,
more than most of us can afford.
Love should be clearly labelled
with a skull and crossbones
and kept locked in a secure place
out of reach of children
and vulnerable adults.
Always read the contraindications -
Not suitable for those with a weak heart,
or suffering mental instability,
because it could push you over the edge.
If you are unsure -
always seek psychiatric advice
before embarking on a course of Love.
