Love Knows No Bounds (1) Poem by Richard Antwi

Love Knows No Bounds (1)

An energetic Youngman
Was admitted at hospital
For unexpected blindness
A nurse cared and fed him always
But the nurse had a horrible huge scar on her cheek
Gradually, this upkeep turned into love
Yet, the nurse was scared
That she will not be loved
Due to her scar
Happily, the Youngman finally got his sight back
But the nurse disappeared due to the scar
At long last, she was found
He saw the scar and said,
"I love you more than ever! "
Because your scar will always remind me
Of the woman who cared for me
When I was blind
Both of us have had a bitter past
Together, we have
A brighter future,
Full of love and happiness
