Love Lost In May Poem by Omari Adams Makaye

Love Lost In May

Rating: 5.0

I got bitter words to say,
From what I think should stay,
Though you were never meant to stay,
From the nightmares I had in Norway,
Of fifty shades of grey,
Of kisses made in the day,
I let my dreams for you sway,
Drifted in hopes kept abay,
Of a love lost in May

Slowly I sojourned in dismay,
But all this for a day,
I cursed like I'd lost a video play,
I still pray that maybe some day,
Perhaps in May, you'll be back to stay,
So I can remodel you like clay,
And lead you to never go astray
Please if all i did to you was disobey,
then i'm remorseful on my bended knees,
perhaps i hope you'll be back to stay.
