Can’t explain,
Never could.
It was always just there.

All flushed down the toilet.
An honest mistake,
That only makes you stronger.
Things spinning outta control.
So dizzy, no stopping it now.
Love is deep in my heart.
It only slumbers never parts.

Can’t take it away,
Never will.
It’s a part of me now.

Feelings rushing outta me.
Wanted it so bad,
Just wishing time could be reversed.
To reverse all the wrongs and make right.
But things are happening for a reason.
Understanding dawning in my eyes,
You realizing it will all be alright.

Can’t go back.
Always wanting it differently.
It’s what needed to be done.

Finally at peace.
Knowing you can make it.
Push forward, gain strength.
I’m behind you when you look back.
Once a promise, always a promise.
Love never leaves.
My first love remains in my heart.
No words could be put to such a love like ours.
Just wishing we could’ve realized sooner,
I know it hurts you, but it’s better this way.
