First of all, one thing that you have going for you is the ability to write straight from the heart. You don’t just make up these poems pulling them out of thin air, and I commend you for this and more than anything else this will set you apart from others. The heart connection is evident in the intensity of the emotions that flow through the lines of your poems. The dark and troubling nature of your poems is acceptable, and has a wide audience in itself. If you read some of my poems you will see similar emotions and an overarching blanket of darkness.

Strangeness coming over me, I wait for my time of demise
As I stare my enemy in the eyes.
It’s like a wanting to end it all
But too afraid to fall.

Fear for what it sees.
The haunting passion is at a freeze.
Like a cat and mouse game.
All I can feel is pain.

It’s drowning in it’s own blood.
Dreaming of a future flood.
Not wanting to come up for air.
Realizing that nothing is ever fair.

Framed for it’s beliefs,
Hoping to get some relief.
Wanting all the lies to just end.
So everything can rewind and he wouldn’t need to defend.

Fire burns deep in my eyes.
Anger pulsing through my veins.
Lacing my blood with poison.
As the tears spill down my face,
like acid leaving behind a trail of burnt flesh.
The pain i feel is unbearable,
as it washes over me like the power of lost souls.
I choose my place as the venom of others
rain down all around me.
