Love Of A Dead Man Poem by Barima Basoah

Love Of A Dead Man

Soo sad to see her go losing her,
soo bad not to let known,
soo hard hurting to keep it all.

crying at day, weeping at night,
he dwells in darkness in his sunset,
and now wailing in his darkest night.

From life to death, he has tear,
in his eye, and a rainbow in his heart,
and she is the tear and the rainbow.

Even in the grave, he lies silently,
but his heart pounds like never before,
because he has left his love somewhere.

His spirit takes no rest,
and his heart keeps waiting for her,
to come and stop the beating of his heart.

There is nothing he has to say,
and there is nothing she has to say,
all about nothing.
