Love's Burning Desire - Poem by Eddie Johnson

A burning desire fueled by passion,
An inner glow that radiates,
Like colors brimming spring and paisley.

Love's Burning Desire

A burning desire great and sassy,
Like a jazz trumpeter tune, mellow yet sweet,
It bellows to rise.

Love's Burning Desire

A burning desire that transforms life,
Treasures unlocked shimmering.
Teams of stallions walk proudly in step

Love's Burning Desire

A burning desire is a sea that overwhelms,
With thunderous ovations seething
Grains of straws share a resemblance of wheat.

Love's Burning Desire

A burning desire a fabric of cashmere
Frolicking amongst the moon beams,
It whittles through time and memories.

Love's Burning Desire
