Love Sick Poem by Elizabeth Walker

Love Sick

Reading these words makes me nauseous, so sick I want to choke
How could these strong feeling from a boy be provoked
At the time I called them men the surely weren’t the sort
Everyone of them somehow has mislead me and fallen short
Princes don’t exist the “perfect one” is just a myth
I’ll think twice before I fly blind again into a relationship whirlwind
I’m running out of sprite and saltines
Going to have to move to stronger remedies
