My God, thanks for the love You brought my way,
And for the joys received as caring grows,
Should harsher times make me recall this day,
These too, become choiced moments free from woes;
Thanks for the gardens made lush by Your rains,
And for the weeds, I tolerate at last,
For sure, Your wisdom grants them there for gains,
I see now roses fairer by contrast;
But You bestowed your grace though I am blind
To good intentions Divine Will destines,
And I am doubly grateful that I find,
Much goodness, more than what my heart opines;
......And though Your sun would set, from day exiled,
.....You always send the moon, have us beguiled.
