Reyvrex Questor Reyes Poems

When all the joys conspired to leave your heart,
And turned all colors that you see to gray,
Your dreams dissolved, each one, its every part,
You were now strangers heading each your way;

Our love has thrived above board all the time,
That scribes above would note regards our fate,
Perhaps, we have enough of deeds sublime,
For sure access enjoyed at Heaven's gate;

Adam woke up to find her by his side,
But just wondering, what she's been doing,
While he was asleep, with nothing to hide?
Moses wrote none. So drop the foregoing.

You loved me many years before we met,
In corridors of past forgotten time,
When many lifetimes proved certain our fate,
As one destined for each other's sweet rhyme;

When trophies rained upon my neighbor's yard,
With not a trickle spilling down my lawn,
 Seems that misfortune fell on me so hard,
Thru nights of darkness without hints of dawn;

As I scour back recesses of my brain,
No single nook I find without your name,
So broadcasted therein like scattered grain,
That furrowerd acreage would fully claim;

So many went to war, had frontiers crossed,
All very apt and fitting for the times,
Blazed prairie trails, or be in oceans tossed,
But lo! This soul just prides to write these rhymes;

As shooting stars streak blazing in the sky,
Many must have gambled wishes right then,
And if by chance, my love, too, watches by,
Could she hyave wished to be with me again?

Our tryst in time, a happenstance gone by,
Went all so well and sweet, but very swift,
My heart, in sorrow did nothing but cry,
On rivers of its tears it's now adrift;

My love, I always dream of your return,
When bluish hues adorn the skies above,
And kindled hearth, with glowing embers burn
All through those blissful nights, so filled with love;

Lake's water sparkles in cool placid bliss,
As sunlight from the ripples, bright, reflects,
Like lips of bride kept waiting for a kiss,
While the groom, dimples of bride he inspects;

The love you kept still hidden in your eyes,
Will not give sleep tonight, and for nights hence;
Yet heart that oft its dreamless state it cries,
Takes not this deed of angels an offence;

As darkness looms so thick, a solid wall,
Which held the night hostage, it failed to dawn,
The heart sinks deeper, reeling from the fall,
Adversity, obliges it to spawn;

My wits beclouded, being spammed by grief,
With hopes deleted, I no longer dreamed,
As sorrow hacked my joys, then fled like thief,
And made me browse for smiles, that you once beamed:

My love, a kiss, now marks upon your neck,
As love became territorial these days,
Reminds me more than would the usual peck,
True love, to strange lands never ever strays;

An angel fetched our Mary, for above,
Be gone now Charon, no one rides your boat,
For nary you'll transport all of the love
She brings, in your boat, and still stay afloat;

How sweet the Autumn breeze
Wafting from my window
Before this Winter freeze
I could see skies are blue;

The rose that wafts its perfume in the air
Exudes a sweetness pleasant to the smell,
That although when already quite so fair,
An added virtue it still have as well;

With midnight far behind and gleams increase,
And sunrise hints of slowly breaking out,
The night decided to soon end its lease,
As now alarmed roosters begin to shout

Come, we will lie among the petals strewn,
To lit the grass aglow with love we'll share,
Beneath the turf, what's there, ask not the moon,
Let not the past give us the least of care;

Love Sonnet 222: 'When All The Joys Conspired To Leave Your Heart'

When all the joys conspired to leave your heart,
And turned all colors that you see to gray,
Your dreams dissolved, each one, its every part,
You were now strangers heading each your way;

That road that faded on a bend hid her,
You wished her figure reappears again,
Though not today, too soon, as so it were,
For even if wounds heal, you won't know when;

And yet, you know, amidst the wintry cold,
Half of the world is warm where hearts rejoice,
Where joy replaces glum, as often told,
And sorrow has to go without a choice;
.... In time, your heart well see colors emerge,
.... And dreams will come where joys would all converge.

Reyvrex Questor Reyes Quotes

I felt so dismal, I tower among ants.

Heading to sea till forever To find a better Fate or worse

Just holding you keeps Paradise in view

I swear to high Heavens, if it exists, And pray to God, they say, if there is such

As nudity is a fashion statement Of those who want to say 'Please no comment'

As when nuggets are dug up from the ground Dross makes mountains, while gold yields but a shard

To delineate the times most lovers miss, A thousand dreams can't beat a single kiss.

For we're in fortress, safe from all that harms, We are enclosed, we're in each other's arms.
