Love Sonnet 124: 'You Left Me Clueless To Start My Pursuit'

You left me clueless to start my pursuit,
To follow is to choose from many routes,
To fail will I, to lack of guides impute,
Should I proceed amid unsettled doubts;
And thus, trodding uncertain paths for you,
Devoured by varied shadows, looming thick,
I seem to feel distinctly every hue
That made my burden so heavy as brick;
But with the glowing aura of your trail,
Seen from afar like glimmer of a star,
That have it glowed with shimmer half as frail,
It would still guide me to find where you are;
......For heart discerns what love marked to pursue,
......Amid confusing routes which might ensue.
