Love Sonnet 191: 'The Stars Must Have Been Falling From The Sky'

The stars must have been falling from the sky,
Or why all these celestial bits I find,
It seems, I almost see some angels fly,
Imagined that some people were too kind;
And you, the best which blessed moonlight brings,
Contributed little to help suppress
My expectation to hear flapping wings,
Instead of the soft rustling of your dress;
But come in any manner you deem fit,
As angel, leave your wings and shoes outside,
Your halo and your aura still unlit,
So they can't be a source of needless pride;
.....Just love is all that you need ever bring,
.....And melody that hearts in love can sing.
