Love Stole My Best Friend Poem by Amanda Michelle

Love Stole My Best Friend

A girl of many words,
But with you; tongue tied.
The heart knows what,
The mind tries to hide.

She’d always point out,
Each star at night,
She’d then begin to wish,
And wish with all her might.

A secretive wish,
But everyone knew,
The wish never changed,
She’d only wish for you.

Three harmless words,
Who knew they’d mean so much,
Two hearts in sync,
Forever love struck.

She had know idea,
Just how it would end.
She took her own life,
Love stole my best friend.
