You are the love of my life
The one for me
But you do not see
That I've been waiting for you

Everything about you is amazing
Your blue eyes, blonde hair
Everything, but you do not share
The same love for me as I have for you

I find myself wishing you were here
You always help my troubles go away
Then I'm wishing you were here to stay
For a little while......forever......

No matter how hard I try
You don't seem to see
That the one for you is me
The one who's just a friend...

My love for you is fading
Like a shadow at dusk
And just when I think I can get over you
I see you and it's clearly not true

I ask myself why it is
that you are the only one
I cannot get over
You must be my lucky four leaf clover

Then, when I thought there was no hope,
I see the look in your eye
Like you have just realized why,
Why I am the way that I am

You come and talk to me
I feel as if this isn't real
Like it's a dream
I wanna jump up and scream

But it is real
Not a dream
I can't jump up and scream
I've got to tell you

You need to know how I feel
But I don't have time
You beat me to talking
You said not to stop, just keep walking

You tell me I'm not what you expected
That you never really knew who I was
I try to talk
But the only thing you let me do is walk

I've lost all hope now
Of telling you how I feel
I'll never have the chance again
But you say you feel like I do, the same way

This is impossible...
I've waited so long for this...
A moment I had come to miss
Though it had never happened...

This love grows
Fills every place it goes
Travels from the head to the toes
The most exhilerating being I have ever felt

People say you shouldn't wait too long
for something that will never come
They didn't know you, I knew I was right
You are dynamite

It feels like I am flying,
Having the time of my life
Then. you get down on your knee
And ask me to be your wife.
