Love That Grows With Time (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Love That Grows With Time (Shakespearean Sonnet)

At first, a spark that timidly appeared,
A fleeting glance, a blush, a soft hello;
Yet seasons passed, and what we once revered
Has deepened into streams that calmly flow.
Each day we share adds layers to the heart,
Not sudden, bright, but steady, ever true;
Through storms endured, through trials that pull apart,
Our roots entwine, sustained by what we do.
The years refine the passion of our youth,
Transforming fire to warmth that will not fade;
In patience, we have found a deeper truth,
A trust no fleeting pleasure could invade.
So love, when nurtured, grows beyond its prime,
And blooms eternal, ripened by time.
