Laid on a bed.
All hope on life gone!
My body resisting all!
I await grudgingly for my fate!
My fate that has been printed on people's faces!
The place I dread most awaits me!
My thoughts linger on my Creator!
Then determination defeats death!
Its a journey that I never walked alone!
Amongst the angels were the evil ones!
Among my beloved ones I found living angels!
Thus when I first saw you!
The calmness I felt when you spoke!
The love I felt was never communicated!
The silent and determined encouragement!
Shrouded in the cover of duty!
My soul was asking, ' Why such humbleness? '
Such humility on one so young!
A calling that befits the individual!
Calling and character inseparable!
Then I was wishing for you.
I was hoping for s glimpse.
To hear your voice.
The voice that shifted me.
For duty determines character.
Can I know the person behind the shroud?
Maybe it is too late to access,
Where my soul wants to linger!
