Im standin here at d gates of sixteen.......
i luk back to glance over d days i have been....
To thank u... to apologize...
To repent wen i didnt hear ur cries..........

An angel i saw... wen i first opened my eyes.....
U showered me love n care equal to no price....
On my forehead came a tear of joy! !
But i was sane...... no more dan a toy.......

I thank u mom...! ! for staying awake all nite......
Widout any haste.. jus b'coz i wasnt all rite..
For every toy at d store u bought...
For ever word of value u taught..........

I'm sorry mom...! ! dat i lied to u...
Although d truth u already u knew.....
Wen ur li'l wishes i didnt fulfill.....
N tears came down widout ur will..........

I promise u mom...! dis very moment...
To never let u down.. not a bit, ...
To go really far n make u proud...
Never to show u d tears of d black cloud...! !

As d gates open n i step in...
I'm ready for days wer i'll loose n win....
Ready to face sunshine n storm...!
