Loveless & Suffering Poem by Bailey Watkins

Loveless & Suffering

She glide through the air hoping;
Searching but slowly dyeing of all hope;
Seeking what she can not reach;
She imagines a crow
She wants to know him
But she has no other connection than a
Friend hawk to guide her to him
Even though they are far away
They are closer than ever
She hopes that when there is no hawk needed
They they could finally be more than just messengers
They could see eye to eye
Hers blue as the depths of the ocean
His searching as much as hers are
And looking deep within the ocean depths
Her mind goes blank, body grows weak
The life leaves her eyes with no sign of the future
But he sees her horrible past
And is greeted by the person inside the ocean depths
But is realizing that she has died
Alone, suffering but hoping he would cave her next time
