Lovelorn Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Lovelorn

Rating: 3.0

What a joy!
For him
Watching
Her unnoticed
By the SHIVALA
A temple of Shiva
God of death
Reaching
The fixed point
Well before time
Well dressed
A heroic style
With an intent
To draw
Her attention
Thereafter
Planning
And managing
Pondering over
Subject-matter
Time and again
Throughout
Sleepless nights
For reception
At the receptive
Moment
When she used
To pass through
On the way
To her College
Without gracing
Even
A momentary
Look at him.

There and then
But not for him
Not even for
An insane
Crazy lovelorn
Infected man
That to be all
And end all
Of his fantastic
Fanciful world
Youthful hope
Unending rope.

No sensation
Simple
Perception
And belief
Of his own
More dreams
Much more
Perhaps his
Achievement
Not to prove
Anything
To any one
But to follow
His heart
Playing
With emotions
Of his own
Though
Physically okay
But
Mentally done.
