Lover's Game Poem by Dev Robinson

Lover's Game

What are we insane? For us to choose a path that will ultimately cause great pain
Why do we play this game? For everytime it ends the same
Back and forth tossing the blame
These things we call feelings I wish I could tame
In this game you either win or lose; in the end we feel sorry for what we choose
Love is a gamble; its out of our reach for what we could no longer handle

You show growth in your reflections about love and what masquerades as love
