Lover's Paradise Poem by Maureen Tan

Lover's Paradise

A Paradise, in my mind,
Is the only place I can find,
Leaving reality behind,
A dream of a lifetime.

Escaping into imaginery fantasy,
A delight, a perfect wish to be,
Of everlasting you & me,
A lover's boundary.

A perfect runaway from this world,
A wish that you can hold,
To love, is the goal,
Be as daring as you're bold.

Everything this life that limits,
All whatever you wish permits,
Our heart that will meet,
This love mine in need.

I'll wish to be in that place,
The only way I can embrace,
And touch gently caress,
True love failed to seized,

This life, of love I'm seeking,
Feelings that I'm hiding,
Dreams that I'm wishing,
Eternal love I'm wanting,

Every seconds passing by,
Every tears that I cry,
My faith ending in sigh,
Still my love can't die.
