Lovers Balancing On The Center Fold - Poem by Aaron John Wells

escaping through picture stillness
urgent turns gripped up
smooth fingers
softly curl into place
heavily glued to the familiar fold
sticky corner
pulls away
tearing
the eternal pose
played out on all fours
begging to be collected
held - turning out
