Lovers' Day Poem by Peter Egba

Lovers' Day

It's Lovers' Day
Some people will their conscience lay
Because one heartless calls them bae
They will forget judgement day

It's lovers' Day
So what should I say
That love should only be for a day?
When Christ has loved us all days?

It's lovers' Day
Please don't be a prey
Who will be used to play
The game the married play

It's lovers' Day
Please let's all pray
That God will his judgement delay
On those who have their garments decay
