you know she's diferant
from any other girl
you've ever met
yet exactly the same
and you know
she's not what people say she is
and she hasn't done
all those rumours you heard
and you bet she could be beautiful
if she didn't hide
but you'd never tell her
that you felt that way
because you are a lovesick coward
who cares too much
about what his friends would think
so you'll watch from a distance
as you slowly fall in love
tough luck.
