Lovey Dovey Poem by Mellisa Salazar

Lovey Dovey

Rating: 5.0

My sweet love,
your voice is the gentle,
cooing of a dove
when you speak to me I sink,
into the rose petals at my feet
I gaze up because,
the clouds have all turned pink
If you speak another word,
you'll lull me right to sleep
right as I close my eyes
you are the last thing that I see
