Loving A Soldier Poem by mary catherine

Loving A Soldier

i'm laying in bed now
its lonely and cold
trying to sleep
it's endless and old
my nights seem to linger
on memories of you
the visions i have
and the dreams i hold true
you may not be here now
you may be afar
but my love is still with you
wherever you are

This is such a heartfelt few lines that the reader will feel your pain and lonliness along with you. Your honesty in writing stands out Mary. A 10 from me.
