Loving Even After Letting Go (Shakespearean Sonnet) Poem by ashok jadhav

Loving Even After Letting Go (Shakespearean Sonnet)

Though hands release what once they longed to hold,
And distance parts the bodies that were near,
My heart remains, though tempered, calm, and bold,
A steady flame that neither fades nor fear.
I love thee still, though life has set apart
The paths we walk, the steps we cannot share;
No bitterness can dwell within my heart,
No shadow dim the care that lingers there.
For love, once true, survives beyond the claim
Of closeness, time, or fate that pulls away;
It burns in quiet, soft, and constant flame,
A witness to what words could never say.
So even gone, my soul shall hold thee dear—
A love unbound, yet faithful, ever near.
